Mark Nowosielski

My interest in aviation started when I was a little boy building and flying radio controlled airplanes with my beloved Dad.  After attending my first airshow at the age of 6, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in aviation. While in high school I completed my private pilots license.  After 4 years at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and several years flight instructing I joined my first airline. Years later I am currently a Captain at a Major Airline with 9,000+ hours of flight experience.

Aerobatics has always been on my mind.  It took upgrading to Captain before I was financially able to start my quest.  I flew my first aerobatic flight a little under 4 years ago, and swiftly purchased a Pitts S1S.  Within a year I was competing in the Advanced Category.  Two years ago upgraded to the Giles 200. Last year I started training with my coach and friend Nikolay Timofeev.

I love competition aerobatics and am aspiring to representing our country for many years to come on both the Advanced and Unlimited levels.  I would like to thank all my friends who support me, especially Jim Crunkelton, Steve Jenkins, Butch walker, Jim Renwick and Robert Drake who collectively ensure that my flying machines are safe and well maintained.
